About Us
Welcome to Kenneth M. Klebanow & Associates! We are a pediatric practice based in Howard County, MD. We specialize in the care of children, from newborns to young adults. For over 35 years, we have been dedicated to offering the very best pediatric care for our community. We have had the honor of being voted the Best Pediatric Practice in Howard County by Howard Magazine each year from 1998 through 2020! We are passionate about creating long-lasting relationships with our patients and their families. To best serve our patients, our practice is open 364 days a year, offers weekend and afternoon hours, and always has an after hours on-call physician ready to assist your family when you need us. If you are new to town, expecting your first child, or are simply in the market for a new medical home, we would be delighted for you to join our practice.

Newborn Care & Breastfeeding Support
Learn more about Newborn Care & Breastfeeding HereAt Kenneth M. Klebanow & Associates we are here for you and your newborn from day one. If your baby is born at Howard County General Hospital, our pediatricians will come visit you and your baby twice. Then, we will see your baby the day after you are discharged from the hospital, even if that day falls on a weekend or holiday. If you are experiencing trouble with breastfeeding, we have licensed lactation consultants on staff to assist you.
Asthma Education
Learn More About Asthma Education HereUnfortunately, pediatric asthma is much more common than in the past. Our practice is here to help your family. While asthma is common, it is still very important for parents to understand how to best manage your child’s specific symptoms and medication. With proper medication and management, it is possible for your child to live a full, active life. We prefer to see children with asthma every 3-12 months to evaluate your child’s condition and medication refills.
Behavioral Health

This is assistance for behaviors, stress, habits, or emotional concerns that are inhibiting your child’s day to day life and education. Our pediatric psychologists, Dr. Winkles and Dr. Leibowitz will first complete a problem-focused assessment then work together with parents to form a plan to achieve your behavioral health goals. Additional follow-up visits may be encouraged.
