Dr. Klebanow founded the practice in 1982 and is pleased to report that of the current 60 employees, 19 of them have been with the practice for 16 or more years.

Dr. James D. Anthony is Board Certified. He received his BS Degree from the University of Florida and his M.D. from the University of Louisville School of Medicine in 1984. He completed his residency at the University of Maryland Medical Systems in 1987, and then joined our practice. Dr. Anthony resides in Baltimore with his wife and four children.

brownDr. Marcia A. Augustine

Dr. Marcia Augustine is Board Certified. She received her BS degree from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and her M.D. from Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica, West Indies in 2009. She completed her residency at Crozer-Chester Medical Center in 2013, received training and certification as a Lactation Counselor in 2013, and was appointed as Chief Resident for 2013-2014 academic year, prior to joining our practice. Dr. Augustine resides in Ellicott City with her husband and daughter.

Dr. Jacqueline Brown is Board Certified. She received her BS Degree from Johns Hopkins University and her M.D. from Howard University College of Medicine in 1988. She completed her residency at the University of Maryland Medical Systems in 1991, and then joined our practice. Dr. Brown resides in Columbia with her husband and has two adult children.

Dr. Chandana Chatterjee is Board Certified. She received her BS Degree from Jabalpur University and her M.D. from A.P.S. University, Rewa, India in 1973. She completed her residency at the University of Maryland Medical Systems in 1980. She was co-chief resident at St Agnes Hospital of Baltimore, Maryland from 1980-1981, and an instructor at Georgetown University Child Development Center from 1982-1990 before joining our practice in 1990. Dr. Chatterjee resides in Columbia with her husband and has two adult children.

Dr. Lindsay Fitch-Alexander is Board Certified. She received her BA Biology Degree from Indiana University and her M.D. from Ohio State University of Medicine and Public Health in 2000. She completed her residency at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, Maryland in 2004, and had been practicing with Nighttime Pediatrics and Arundel Pediatrics before joining our practice in 2011. She resides in Catonsville with her husband and two children.

Dr. Kenneth M. Klebanow

Dr. Kenneth M. Klebanow is Board Certified. He received his BA History Degree from New York University and his M.D. from New York Medical College in 1978. He completed his residency at the University of Maryland Medical systems in 1981, and then started this private practice in 1982. Dr. Klebanow resides in Columbia with his wife and has two adult children.

Dr. Parul A. Mehta Shah is Board Certified. She received her BS and MS Degree from Georgetown University in Washington, DC and her M.D. from St George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies in 2002. She completed her residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center in 2005, and had been practicing with Nighttime Pediatrics and Dr. Sujata Qasba before joining our practice in 2007. Dr. Shah resides in Columbia with her husband and two daughters.

Dr. Heather Neblett-Alexander

Dr. Heather Neblett-Alexander is Board Certified. She received her BS Degree from Haverford College and her M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in 1992. She completed her residency at the Children’s National Medical Center in 1995, and had been practicing pediatric/adolescent medicine for nine years in Baltimore with the Baltimore Medical System before joining our practice in 2004. Dr. Alexander resides in Columbia with her husband and three children.

Dr. Jessica Winkles

Dr. Jessica Winkles is a licensed psychologist. She earned her B.A. from the University of Virginia and her Ph.D. in Child Clinical Psychology from the University of Denver. She completed her internship in child clinical and pediatric psychology at Children’s National Health System in 2013 and clinical research fellowship at University of Maryland School of Medicine in 2015. The Behavioral Health Consultation Service of Klebanow & Associates was established in 2016 with Dr. Winkles’ guidance. She resides with her husband and daughter in Howard County.

Dr. Elizabeth L. Thompson is Board Certified. She received her B.S. degree from Loyola University of Maryland and her M.D. from Georgetown University, graduating AOA. She completed her residency at Children’s National Medical Center in 2015. Dr. Thompson resides in Howard County with her husband. She is a Wilde Lake graduate 2004.

Dr. Dana Wollney is Board Certified. He received his BS Degree at Washington University School of Engineering and Applied Science and his M.D. from Washington University School of Medicine in 1983. He completed his residency at the University of Maryland Medical Systems in 1986, and then joined our practice. Dr. Wollney resides in Columbia with his wife and two children.

Mrs. Hope Bird is a certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner since 1997 and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). She received her BSN from the University of Maryland and her MSN from the University of Maryland, Advanced Practice PNP in the Department of Maternal/Child health. She worked for eight years in Pediatrics Dept of the ER at University of Maryland Medical System and joined our practice in 1997. She resides in Eldersburg with her husband and two children.

Mrs. Sharon Brodie is a certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner since 1983 and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) . She received her BSN from Western Connecticut State College and her MS from the University of Virginia. Her past employment includes being a clinical instructor at Marymount College of Virginia. She has worked at Children’s Hospital Medical Center and at the Pediatric Center at St Agnes Hospital. She has been a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for 26 years and joined our practice in 2010. She resides in Linthicum with her husband and has three adult children.

Mrs. Elizabeth Lancos is a certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner since 2000. She received her BSN from Villanova University and her MS from the University of MD in Primary Care of Children. Her past employment includes adult ICU and oncology, postpartum/newborn nursery and pediatric inpatient/ER with Howard County General Hospital. She joined our practice in 1999. Mrs. Lancos resides in Ellicott City with her husband and has four adult children.

Mrs. Melissa Thistle is a certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner since 1981 and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). She received her BSN from Villanova University and her MS from the University of Maryland in Primary Care of Children. She joined our practice in 1991. She has been actively involved in newborn management with an emphasis on breastfeeding since she began working in our practice. In the past she has worked the postpartum/newborn nursery in several hospitals. She was also Maternal Child Health Coordinator for a Visiting Nurse/Public Health Agency in Western Massachusetts providing breastfeeding support for local families. Mrs. Thistle resides in Columbia with her husband and has three adult children.

Mrs. Elizabeth Shapiro has been a Certified Nurse Practitioner since 1977. She received her BSN from Boston University School of Nursing. She is a graduate of the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Program at the Johns Hopkins School of Allied Health Services, and has a Masters degree in Community Health Education from Towson University. She is responsible for health education development for patients and their families, focusing on a variety of clinical issues. Additionally, Mrs. Shapiro has created and participated in health education programs directed to both academic and community resources. She joined our practice in 1987. Mrs. Shapiro resides in Owings Mills with her husband and has three adult children.
